Minnesota West Ag Services, LLC provides market consulting,  cost of production analysis, marketing strategy recommendations and crop insurance. David Scheibel provides Brokerage services as a  branch office of Allendale Risk Management Inc ., a completely seperate entity than Minnesota West Ag Services, LLC. Using the "MNWestAg Position Manager", MNWestAg helps producers make sound marketing decisions and understand the financial impact of their decisions. MNWestAg believes that understanding your market position is critical and provides detailed Market Position Reports for each crop that include mark to market revenue, position graphs, options & futures, insured bushels sold, delivery and revenue schedules and more. Since the purchase of a 1987 IBM computer , current MNWestAg employees have been customizing software to match the changing needs of agriculture.

MNWestAg also provides feedlot tracking services for cattle and hog producers. The tracking system was developed in 1991 to facilitate tracking all aspects of livestock production starting with origination cost and weights and including trucking, veterinary, feed, and yard cost along with sales of the livestock to provide extensive close out reports and anylisis.

Since 1987 employees that are with Minnesota West Ag Services, LLC have been providing the agricultural community with consulting services. Working with numerous legal firms they have been involved with formation of business plans and compilation of S-4 prospectus used for stock offerings. As part of the process they have been asked by corporate CEO's to review a number of legal documents. They also have worked with a number of Investment Bankers on various projects. In addition, they have written business plans for entities considering potential projects. One such entity was MN Maize who considered a specialty starch project in Renville County. The MN Maize Business Plan overview written in 2000 is an example of the one type of service that is MNWestAg can provide.

MN Soybean Research & Promotion Council 2013 See For Yourself Trade Mission to China

David Scheibel was fortunate to be invited along for a 10 day China trade mission trip taking place from March 19 to March 28, 2013. A total of 27 Minnesota farmers and soybean officials were part of the Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion council's (MSR&PC) International Marketing "See For Yourself" project. This popular program, now in its eighth year, gives Minnesota farmers a personal view of how their checkoff dollars work to develop international markets.
